Thanksgiving Time

Dear Parents,
It is the month of giving thanks and I'm so glad that you have allowed me to teach your student. It has been an exceptional year with your students being so attentive. I love them so much for the character traits I see blooming in each of them. During the break, please be sure that your student is reading every day and also is working the math facts in addition and subtration. That would be so great to have the students return with everyone at 80% accuracy. Thank you again for the many blessings you have given to me through your students. Have a very happy and safe Thanksgiving Holiday.

Classroom work

In Mrs. Kolo's second grade class, we open our math books to discover the fun of reading a fraction graph. Using our reading skills to reach the correct answer, makes it all the more exciting.

In Scoemce we are learning about the Coral Reef. We are centering most of our study to the Great Barrier Reef off Australia. There are so many different aspects to the reef that it is totally fun.

Learning to rewrite a piece of work is not fun. But, as a class, we struggling through the hard stuff to get to some easier work.

Thanks for reading along with me. Mrs. Kolo
